The 3rd Friday of each month the Philadelphia Homebrew Club meets at the Philadelphia Homebrew Outlet to share home brew, food and listen to a presentation about home brewing, fermentation or other related topics.
This month, the owner of Yard's Brewery, Tom Kehoe, is gracing us for a night of stories, laughs, and brew tales for a fireside chat. Tom has been on top of Philly's brewing scene since he started pro-brewing in 1994 in a Manayunk garage. Since then, this small start up has grown into one of the city's largest and most popular brewing companies. Come prepared with questions and hear the story of a Philly brewing trail blazer!
Our food selection this month will be pulled pork and vegetarian pulled pork a la jackfruit! There will be a competition for best mac n cheese! Sign up here to compete!
If you will be bringing homebrew to share please register your beer here! And remember, if you'd like feedback, bring 2 x 12 or 16oz bottles!
Dues paying members are free, we ask a $5 donation to help cover cost of food if you are not a member—we like to have food competitions or a pot luck style selection at each meeting to help soak up some of the free home brew samples which are available.
